The School of Dentistry seeks an innovative and energetic individual with strong leadership and managerial skills to assist the School of Dentistry with ongoing curriculum development and management, educational program quality assessment and improvement, academic support for the faculty, and the facilitation of a humanistic and inclusive learning environment for a diverse student body.

Duties and Responsibilities

Position Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Provide administrative leadership for the ongoing development, implementation, and management of the D.D.S curriculum
* Provide leadership and support for the staff in the Office of Student Services, the Office of Diversity, the Office of Assessment and Institutional Outcomes, and the Office of Dental Admissions
* Ensuring that all programs are in ongoing compliance with current accreditation standards ???Leading the Commission on Dental Accreditation self-study process
* Developing and disseminating course schedules and examination schedules
* Promoting academic initiatives (inter-professional education, curriculum innovation)
* Provide oversight and coordination of program planning and program assessment, curriculum development, and academic policy development
* Implementing and managing the academic policies in collaboration with the Dean and other members of the Administrative Council
* Work collaboratively with the Department Chairs and Program Directors to support the School of Dentistry Mission, strategic priorities, and faculty development
* Work collaboratively with the Office of the Registrar, Office of the General Counsel, Office of the Bursar, and other university offices as necessary

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Qualified applicants must have a DMD/DDS degree from a US or Canadian dental school recognized by the ADA Commission on Dental Accreditation or a comparable foreign degree. Applicants must hold a valid dental license in some state or jurisdiction and be eligible for a regular license or faculty license in the State of Wisconsin.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

We are looking for candidates with the following skillsets: strong leadership skills, a record of administrative achievements demonstrating interpersonal skills, management expertise, teaching experience, experience with dental accreditation, and a working knowledge of curriculum planning and management.

This position is available immediately (starting date negotiable). Salary and rank commensurate with experience and qualifications.
