Koch Maritime is seeking an experienced International Billing and Customer Service Representative to join our team in St. Paul, MN.

Who are you?

The International Billing and Customer Service Representative will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service, data administration, and problem solving with our international logistics team.
To be successful in this role, you must have at least one-year experience in international freight services, be detail oriented, a disciplined self-starter, have excellent communication and time management skills.

What does the job look like daily?

Data management and timely input into Truckmate database
High level customer, vendor, and carrier interaction via phone and email to inform of any changes or delays
Audit carrier invoices and prepare orders for billing
Obtain quotes from steamship lines and other necessary carriers
Prepare necessary legal filing and communicate with US Customs on issues as needed and provide coordination for customs clearance
Collaborate with Logistics personnel when both domestic and international services are provided to a joint customer

Job Requirements:
What do you need to do the job?

High school diploma or equivalent
One-year experience in international freight services or similar
Working knowledge of all international transactions; including import, export, ocean, air and understanding of INCO terms
Understand metric system and proper conversion factors
Understand US Customs process
Time management skills with a strong sense of urgency
Computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office Suite and transportation software
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to exchange information with all levels of the organization
