The System Analyst 1 will install, configure, and provide support for software packages, systems integrations with internal and external applications.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

The Business Applications Team handles the installation, configuration, support, and training for these software packages:
  • LIMS - (Laboratory Information Management Systems) from LabVantage Solutions
  • PIMS - (Process Information Management Systems) From Aspen Technologies
    • AspenTech InfoPlus.21, Process Explorer Graphics/Trending
  • SAP Business Objects Business Intelligence Platform
  • Power BI/SSRS
    • Dashboards, Reporting, Microsoft Add-ins
  • Strinos ERP - Beet Seed Management, Sales, and Reporting
  • In-house .NET applications
  • Jira/Confluence administration
  • Other duties as assigned

These software packages must be configured to fit the business needs of American Crystal Sugar and require integration with various in-house applications. These systems are the primary collection and information delivery tools used to monitor and maximize the production and efficiencies of the factories and supporting chemistry and microbiology labs. We provide excellent customer service to internal/external customers. On-going training/position development provided.

Minimum Requirements

To be successful in this position requires:
  • Associates or bachelor's degree in management of information systems, computer science, technology related field and/or relevant experience
  • General understanding of Microsoft Server/Client environments
  • General knowledge of Oracle/SQL Server
  • General knowledge of relational databases
  • Experience with reporting tools (i.e., SAP Business Objects, Power BI, SSRS, Tableau, etc.)
  • Experience with LIMS or PIMS preferred
  • Willing to take initiative with new projects/tasks
