Job Details

Human Resources Activities:

1. Onboarding new employees ensuring all necessary and required documentation is obtained prior to first day of employment.
2. Develop and deliver new employee orientation training.
3. Process weekly payroll and related payroll taxes for both union and nonunion entities.
4. Record cash transactions related to payroll.
5. File necessary quarterly payroll reports for all required states.
6. Prepare required yearend wage reporting such as W-2s and ACA filing, as necessary.
7. Update/create employee payroll setups as needed to maintain personnel records.
8. Offboarding terminated employees.
9. Review and maintain employee job descriptions ensuring information is accurate.
10. Review and maintain corporate handbook to ensure all corporate policies and government requirements are accurately documented.
11. Manage corporate drug testing program.
12. Manage and track all required employee training and certifications.

Employment Recruiting
1. Maintain company applicant tracking system with current open positions.
2. Review applicants to determine potential hires.
3. Complete initial applicant screening and make recommendations to hiring managers.
4. Assist hiring managers with hiring decisions.

Benefit Management
1. Maintain employee benefits for initial enrollment, open enrollment and changes due to qualifying events.
2. Work with CFO to obtain benefit renewal proposals and make recommendations for corporate benefit program.
3. Review monthly invoices to ensure accuracy of billing information.
4. Maintain employee information in company HRM system.
5. Reconcile employee payroll benefit information to ensure accuracy of deductions and fringe benefits.
6. Review and maintain employee handbook

Employee Performance Management
1. Submit required scorecards for completion by respective manager based on company requirements.
2. Compile, summarize and analyze scorecard results to present to employee and supervisors.
3. Manage initial employment and annual review process for all employees.
4. Address any employee performance issues ensuring a proper corrective action process is communicated.
