Job Details
Positions are, job level 4 ($20.10-20.47), Monday-Thursday, July 11-28, 2022, approximately 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., for a total of 60 hours with the summer Extended School Year Program. Positions are located at Bemidji High School, Bemidji Middle School, and Gene Dillon Elementary School. The paraprofessionals work, under the direction of a special education teacher and an administrator, with one or more students who need assistance in academic areas. Other duties may include helping to lift students, assisting with physical needs such as toileting and addressing behavior and/or emotional needs.
Applicants must have two years of study at an institution of higher education (AA, AS, 60 semester credits or 90 quarter credits) OR a minimum score of 460 on the ParaPro Assessment. Applicants must submit college transcripts or official ParaPro Assessment results to the online application be considered for a position.
Salary and all other working conditions will be in accordance with the employment agreement in effect between ISD #31 and the Bemidji Minnesota School Employees Association.
