JOB SUMMARY:

The In-Home Therapist provides intensive in-home support and treatment to families who are participating in Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) to stabilize and strengthen the family unit.

SALARY: $22.00 - 23.00 per hour.

$500 sign-on bonus!


OFFICE LOCATION: Office is based at the Kenosha County Job Center with flexibility to work from home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interview and evaluate families to complete the intake process and assess therapeutic needs.
  • Participate in the formulation, implementation, and evaluation of Individualized Service Plans.
  • Counsel clients in accordance with their treatment plans.
  • Exercise judgment to intervene as an advocate for clients in emergency and crisis situations.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skill in addressing family system, mental health, parenting, and alcohol/drug issues through individual, family, and group counseling.
  • Conduct home visits per service plans.
  • Attend youth/family team meetings.
  • Organize and facilitate structured group, individual, and/or family activities to meet the goals of the service plan.
  • Attend client court proceedings and provide updates on treatment progress, as needed.
  • Coordinate services and maintain communication with all service providers involved with the clients.
  • Safely transport clients as needed.
Requirements:
  • Must have reliable transportation on a daily basis, a valid driver's license, and automobile insurance.
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or other related fields.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
