Early Childhood Assistant

We are currently accepting applications to fill the role of Early Childhood Assistant, who is responsible for assisting the teacher in preparing and conducting appropriate activities in the classroom and for supervision of the children as part of CAP Services' Head Start program.
Head Start is a federally-funded program for income eligible and special needs preschool children and their families, providing comprehensive services in the areas of early childhood education, health, and family-community partnership.
_*Qualifications to apply are: *_
* Completion of high school diploma or equivalent and completion of two courses in Early Childhood Education from an institute of higher education _and_ 6 months related work experience working directly with young children.
* Obtain and maintain a current certificate of Infant CPR (within 3 months of hire)
* Must be able to work effectively in multi-cultural situations
* _Candidates will be required to show proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, as defined by the CDC, upon commencing employment. Reasonable accommodations will be considered on a case-by-case basis for exemptions to this requirement in accordance with applicable law._
_*Benefits & Pay*_
* $12.03-$13.11 per hour depending on experience.
* This position is LTE: less than 20 hours per week, summer layoff.
