$40 - $50 W2 Pay Rate

Are you a contract accounting professional who loves flexible work, variety and solving new problems? Hello Temp is looking for an experienced contract General Ledger (GL) Accountant to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying financial transactions. The contract Senior Accountant responsibilities include reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger and preparing month-end close procedures. A successful contract Senior Accountant combines excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts. The ideal candidate has experience collaborating and/or managing a teams and has worked in the gig economy, contract, consultant, project and flexible career paths in the past - or is ready to make the leap in to flexible work!

Responsibilities

Analyze financial information and summarize financial status

Provide technical support and advice on accounting

Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures

Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process

Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule

Support month-end and year-end close process
