Position Summary:
This position will use a diverse set of technical and analytical skills to organize resources around the execution of business objectives in a highly dynamic environment. The Business Analyst works with stakeholders from across the enterprise and related third parties to define and document business processes and requirements.

Essential Responsibilities:
Job Function 1: Business Analyst - 70%
  • Understands organizational needs and goals, and ensures alignment with initiatives.
  • Facilitates workshops with stakeholders to elicit process requirements.
  • Establishes relationships with stakeholders across the Enterprise.
  • Participates in the analysis and review of current processes and systems to determine effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders on redesigning current processes.
  • Encourages stakeholders to think differently and put the client at the forefront of our processes.
  • Identifies automation opportunities during project and process improvement initiatives.
  • Re-engineers processes to improve automation potential.
  • Recommends tools and approach for improvement and automation.
  • Creates process documentation and workflows to support the process review and recommendations.
  • Performs change management during process change implementation and testing.
  • Monitors, measures, and provides feedback on process performance.
  • Communicates processes and improvements to the respective business units of the organization.
  • Continues to learn industry best practice, consistently uses tools and defined procedures, and participates in the development of new methods and approaches.

Job Function 2: Requirements Analyst - 30%
  • Performs project validation for enterprise projects to determine strategic alignment, project scope, stakeholders required, cost-benefit analysis, level of effort, timeline, and recommended approach.
  • Elicits and document business requirements for enterprise projects.
  • Analyzes business requirements to determine alignment with strategic plan and project scope.
  • Translates business requirements for internal stakeholders, vendors, and developers.
  • Ensures business requirements are met throughout project implementation.
  • Establishes relationships with stakeholders across the enterprise.
  • Recommends solutions according to the current and future needs of the business.
  • Serves as liaison between team members, business lines, vendors and management team throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborates with project management during the project lifecycle.

Position Requirements:
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and 3 or more years of business analysis/project management experience or equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency working with process mapping software preferred.
  • Proven analytical ability to determine appropriate actions and meet deadlines.
  • Proven analytical, evaluative and problem-solving abilities.

Physical Demands - Must be met with or without a reasonable accommodation:
  • Extended periods of time sitting at a desk and using office equipment.
  • Ability to operate a personal computer/laptop for approximately 8 hours per day.
  • Extended time is spent reviewing documents, both actual papers or electronic.
  • The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
  • Periodically, may also do light lifting of supplies and materials which weighs in at approximately 20 lbs.
  • Will spend most of time in an indoor environment.
  • Travel between markets on a regular basis as the responsibilities of the role require.
