We are searching for an Administrative Assistant with Grit, Humility, and Heart to provide support to the Center for Global Engagement and the Associate Provost for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.


Salary Range: $18.10 - $24.00 /hourly; $37,793 - $50,112 /annually

Job Summary
Provide administrative services for the Center for Global Engagement  
Monitor and perform budgeting, bookkeeping duties and verifying application charges, insurance billing, and student tuition billing and reporting. \
Provide confidential administrative support and assistance to the AP for DEI. 

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be a citizen or legal permanent resident of the United States in order to assist with immigration requirements.
  • Accounting/budgeting/expense reporting skills sufficient to monitor and balance multiple budgets to ensure that spending is within budget guidelines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to create/edit a variety of documents including spreadsheets, tabels and graphs. Analyze data, prepare charts, reports, and presentations.
  • Successful demonstration of office organization, attention to detail, planning, and process improvements.
  • Critical thinking and decision making skills.
  • Ability to work discreetly with confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in higher education with working knowledge of academic affairs
  • DSO trained
  • SEVIS trained
  • Experience with international students

Additional Requirements
This position requires successful completion of a background check.
In accordance with the Minnesota State Colleges & Universities (MnSCU) Vehicle Fleet Safety Program, employees driving on college/university business who use a rental or state vehicle shall be required to conform to MnSCU’s vehicle use criteria and consent to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
