Construction/Equipment Coordinator

You'll work with engineering and construction to ensure that the equipment required for small cell site and in-building projects are available when its needed and complete. You will also be responsible for financial tracking of construction projects. You'll work closely with other Network teams such as RF Design, Real Estate and Construction to meet project milestones.

Determining the equipment needs for cell sites based on engineering plans and project outlines.
Coordinating the ordering and integration process to provide complete equipment sets for projects.
Managing supplier relationships to meet targeted network milestones and turn-up dates.
Attending project update meetings to present status updates.
Initiate material requests.
Utilize tools that help find equipment in the company system before ordering new.
Following appropriate methods and procedures for equipment tracking and inventory control.
Monitor all equipment expenditures.
Ensure vendor payment utilizing PeopleSoft Equipment Procurement.
Oversee equipment installation and acceptance.
Review drawings for accuracy

MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):
* Attention to detail
* Project Management
* Creative problem solver.
* Ability to work under extremely tight deadlines and manage competing priorities.
* Team player attitude is a MUST.
* Excellent computer skills including: Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, Gmail, etc)

DESIRED SKILLS:
- Experience in Telecommunications / Wireless

JOB DUTIES:

* Manage all facets of large scale, network construction projects with broad scope to ensure deliverables are met within schedule, budget, and quality.
* Manage external vendors including - General Contractors and Supply Chain
* Handle RFPs, quotes, purchase order submittals, invoicing and material release.
*Track projects through numerous databases and accounting tools.
*Performing regular financial administration of purchase orders
* Responsible for planning and directing the work of a group of individuals, monitoring their work, and providing direction when necessary.
* Have thorough understanding of project management concepts and techniques along with the skills to establish priorities and define, plan, execute the activities necessary to reach project objectives.
* Researches background information related to legal issues, gathers records and files and puts information together; Drafts routine contracts or legal agreements; 5+ years of related real estate experience a plus.
* Experience managing and coordinating large document compilations and mail outs.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

4 Year College Degree or similar work experience.

LOGISTICS:
Shift: Approx 8-5 M-F
Need to have remote work setup, required one day a week in office based on Verizon hybrid schedule.
