Product Designer/Detailer

Our Product Designers/Detailers are a vital role in the bringing clienteles ideas and visions to life. Product Designer/Detailer use creative problems solving to create experiential designs to life through true to size automation in Solidworks. They work closely with project managers and sales to ensure accuracy of designs and expectations.

Requirements

Job Specifications:

o Schedule/Employment type:

Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30 pm with over-time as needed during busy periods

Flexible hours

Full-time hours with pay based on experience and skill level

Product Designers/Detailer will be provided necessary design software and work issued computer to run required software

Additional Solidworks training based on experience provided

o Duties and Responsibilities: (Included but not limited to)

Utilize Solidworks to design innovative products that go above and beyond client expectations

Modify and adjust designs in accordance too specification and needs of the client while maintaining high standards

Accurately produce visual products in Solidworks software that demonstrate CAD Industries high expectation

Follow verbal and written ideas through design process

Measure physical products to ensure accuracy and scale

Resolve complex and detailed design issues through creative, innovative, and practical solutions

Work with sales and project managers in an effective and efficient manner

o Qualifications:

Educations:

High school diploma or GED preferred

Experience:

1-2 years Solidworks experience Bonus

Skills:

Ability to effectively problem solve, Ability to use Solidworks, Ability to measure and calculate measurements accurately,Creative mindset with ability to innovate new solutions, Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Possess strong organizational skills, time management, and have a highly refined attention to details.
