Audit Coordinator
Atos Medical is a specialized medical device company and the clear market and technology leader for voice and pulmonary rehabilitation for cancer patients who have lost their voice box. Atos Medical has an immediate opening in the Business Support Area.
The Audit Coordinator will be responsible for coordination and scheduling of internal employee performance auditing to ensure accurate task completion for a variety of internal business units. This role will also be responsible for managing documentation of reporting, trends of audit data, results of root cause analysis, and recommendations for improvements within the department and/or within business units being audited. This role will also be responsible for audit file generation and submission for all external audit requests related to operational business units.
Job Responsibilities for the Audit Coordinator
Accept and produce complete case files for all external audit requests.
Maintain and schedule internal audit activity based on established internal audit schedule.
Maintain and store all data related to internal audit activity.
Schedule internal reviews of audit findings providing applicable parties with background and context prior to the meeting.
Document and maintain communication with responsible parties for final internal audit findings.
Collaborates with other staff and leadership team on the use of established business processes, procedures, and related tools.
Maintain all records of employee performance scorecards as produced through audit activity completed monthly.
Demonstrates proficiency with the principles and methodologies of process improvement.
Apply these principles in the execution of responsibilities in support of a process focused approach.
Skills for the Audit Coordinator
Ability to effectively work with internal departments as required to accomplish each task.
Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills required.
Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects successfully.
Self-motivated, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Intermediate skill in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work overtime as needed or required to meet business goals and objectives.
Strong situational analysis and decision-making abilities.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications for the Audit Coordinator
HS Diploma or G.E.D.
3+ years of experience in business or healthcare related industry
Experience in a Quality Assurance or Business Audit function or role.
Preferred Qualifications for the Audit Coordinator
Education: 4 year bachelor degree
Experience: 5 + years of related business experience, preferably in a health care related industry.
Durable Medical Equipment Billing experience.
