We are hiring a new Market Development Manager - Electrification to be responsible for subject matter expertise in Electrification and using that to develop the marketing strategy, opportunity development and programs to grow the company's market share in the Electrification market. The position works independently and collaborates with multiple departments including Sales, Marketing, Engineering and Operations.



What You Will Do (Essential Functions):



  • Partner across the organization to develop the strategy and marketing plan for Electrification that is aligned to the company's vision and strategic imperatives, builds strong and sustainable competitive advantage, and achieves target revenue results.

  • Initiate and drive solutions through extensive knowledge of industry and customer needs, market trends and segmentation, partner and channel go-to-market strategy and external environmental trends. Establish and maintain relationships across the business

  • Partners with key commercial stakeholders to determine customer needs and lead the development of marketing deliverables required to expand the company's market position.

  • Clearly convey customer and market needs and trends to innovation team that leads to new product idea generation and development.

  • Works closely with Product Category Managers and Innovation Manager to ensure new products exceed customer expectations.

  • Constantly monitor target market, identify new business opportunities, and propose and drive action plans to optimize market penetration.

  • Key contributor of new product launches and marketing deliverables and deployment to the internal and external sales teams, channel, and key influencers in the market. Work closely with the marketing communications team to ensure deliverables further the company's brand equity and are created for maximum impact and results.

  • Develop market-based positioning statements and lead content development with marketing communications team to produce marketing deliverables to further positioning and marketing plans.

  • Participate on industry-related committees as applicable. Interpret code and industry changes and ensure the right specifications and products to enable new business.

  • Help develop and implement training programs, as required, for internal and external audiences.



Success in this role will require:



  • Ability to quickly and competently develop solutions-based differentiation models utilizing product, capability, corporate value, and market relationships in the electrification market space.

  • Execution of differentiation models so they are known and valued in the market.

  • History of creativity, innovation, inquisitiveness, and ethical behavior.

  • Must have a collaborative nature and experience in conflict management

  • Technical aptitude in injection molding and extrusion - or ability and interest in learning these manufacturing processes.

  • Synthesize complex or diverse information. Collect and research data. Use intuition and experience to complement data

  • Proven experience in developing and executing business cases. Make sound decisions in new product and program development for profitable growth.

  • Ability to take ownership and drive projects from beginning to end, working with and motivating multiple internal departments. Must be accustomed to providing solutions and executing them to plan.

  • Excellent skills in project organization, tracking, and communication of progress.

  • Ability to influence people and departments who don't directly report to the position.

  • Must combine attention to detail with the top-level priorities which need to be accomplished.



What You Bring (Qualifications):



  • Electrical Engineering or related degree required.

  • Mechatronics Engineering experience preferred - 3+ years minimum.

  • Strong project management, interpersonal, leadership, organizational and written/verbal communication skills required; ability to sell ideas and present strategies at an executive level.

  • Excellent verbal and written skills. Proven ability to communicate value to different customer influencers - from the specifier to executive management

  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook.

  • Position is located at Milwaukee, WI corporate office.

  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

  • Must have a valid driver's license, with an acceptable driving record, along with adequate insurance
