Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist UnitedHealthcare's national regulatory affairs and market conduct examination teams with regulatory responses
  • Counsel on exams and audit responses
  • Counsel on corrective action plans
  • Manage and provide legal support on reports to regulators related to mental health parity and other regulatory issues
  • Counsel on mental health parity related inquiries and assist with parity related analysis
  • Support key areas for regulatory advocacy
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the legal and compliance departments
  • Help foster key regulatory relationships

Required Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate degree
  • 7+ years of legal experience
  • 3+ years of relevant legal experience in commercial healthcare insurance

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $113,500 to $218,100. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $113,500 to $218,100. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
