Inland Companies and Colliers | Wisconsin is seeking a Project Manager to support Director of Project Management and Development of our dynamic company. The perfect candidate will be flexible, adaptable, and resourceful, with the ability to undertake several projects and shifting priorities. The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

Assist owner to define its project objectives and goals resulting in a clearly defined scope of project and scope of required consultant services.

Prepare requests for proposals, review and balance proposals.

Assist in owner's decision-making process.

Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets for assigned new construction, renovation, and capital work.

Manage and oversee owner's consultants, design team, contractors, and other professionals as necessary.

Review invoices and pay applications for appropriateness

Serve as the point-of-contact involving interaction with owners and contractors during the construction phase.

Communicate effectively with the contractor on upcoming schedule needs for the project.

Contract modification preparation and cost proposal review.

Ensure project budgets are on track. Effectively track and communicate potential change orders with the owner.

Conduct substantial completion inspections and maintain up-to-date project records.

Develop and maintain good working relationships project stakeholders (owners, architects, local officials, contractors, vendors) in order to help successfully complete projects within limits of budget and time.

Requirements

Self-sufficient to develop and maintain the main principles of project management, which include project schedules, project budget and contracts, quality assurance, and interaction with all stakeholders.

The ability to present project matters and report on the status of the project to achieve the necessary project milestones, obtaining approvals as necessary.

Experience with and negotiating construction contracts, and architectural, engineering and technology related agreements.

Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications.

Knowledge in materials, methods and practices of construction industry.

Highly organized with strict attention-to-detail, possess excellent analytical skills, with ability to problem solve and troubleshoot under pressure.

Able to undertake multiple projects, manage shifting priorities, and handle a heavy workload.

Strong communications skills focus.

Polished appearance and the ability to interact with high-level professionals and employees.

High integrity - Trusted, direct, truthful, confident.

Minimum of 5-7 years of design or construction project management experience.
