You will have the opportunity to:

Be a key leader within the talent management team helping provide a best in class experience for our people:

- Collaborate with leadership to create and recommend employee engagement and retention strategies

- Develop and analyze people related metrics to understand trends and translate into business solutions

- Create a cohesive approach across all People Solutions areas promoting the acquisition, development, and success of talent that enhances organizational health and drives a high performance culture

- Lead key initiatives which support the firm's vision, growth, and people strategies

- Provide guidance and leadership in employee relations, interpreting complex employment laws and policies and making recommendations for improvement

- Facilitate and support the performance management and compensation review process; serving as a coach and advisor to managers and leaders.

- Conduct internal investigations related to employee issues and bring them to resolution

- Ensure the organizations compliance with local, state and federal regulations

- Ability to deploy firm-wide People Solutions initiatives to the market, field questions and ensure consistency, understanding and adoption

- Embrace and drive diversity and inclusion initiatives

- Provide leadership, guidance and mentorship to the talent management team to ensure a high level of service to our internal clients

Support the growth and development of team members through Baker Tilly's learning philosophy, helping associates meet their professional goals

Qualifications

Successful candidates will have:

Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or other related field required, master's degree preferred

PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP,SHRM SCP, and or SHRM California Law HR Specialty Credential highly desired

Eight (8)+ years of progressive human resources experience required

Five (5)+ years' experience in a business partner/talent management role

Past experience in a professional services firm (public accounting, legal, engineering, etc.) desired

Knowledge of human resources rules and regulations, including federal and state laws along with solid experience leading employee relations issues

Demonstrated ability to collaborate, influence and impact change by leading individuals in a Matrix environment

Proven relationship-building skills, and strong leadership qualities to drive collaboration, influence, and change in a Matrix environment

Exceptional communication, client/customer service, presentation, and facilitation skills required

Must be able to work on projects simultaneously and change tasks quickly and see projects to the end

Ability to work independently and as an integral part of a team that is geographically dispersed

High level of confidentially and appreciation for handling sensitive matters

Executive boardroom presence with the ability to communicate regularly with leadership throughout the firm

Travel periodically to successfully support internal client needs and for internal team meetings

The ability to go into an office environment as needed

Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship required
