Salary: Based on Experienced, Up to $38 per hour

Location: Southeast Wisconsin

Start Date: TBD upon acceptance of offer

Job Summary:

The Lead Electrician will be responsible for the completion of residential remodel and new construction projects for the Install and Remodel Department. Key areas of emphasis include understanding timelines to ensure successful completion based on project schedule, constant communication to the Install and Remodel Manager and teammates to ensure customer needs are consistently met. The position will lead by example and will demonstrate the core values of Current Electric.

Duties and Responsibilities:

??? Responsible for the plan and layout of electrical wiring and installation

??? Knowledge of all electrical systems from onset to completion in residential remodeling and new construction ??? Ability to read blueprints and job specifications in accordance with NEC and local code

??? Meet or exceed customer expectations by providing a high level of quality work

??? Ability to share your knowledge and mentor apprentices

??? Assist the team ordering and coordinating materials to ensure a successful working environment ??? Participate in ongoing training to allow you to grow and gain knowledge within the electrical field ??? Maintain a clean, organized job site as well as accurate inventory of tools and supplies as assigned ??? Other duties as needed

Qualifications and Skills:

??? Minimum five years of residential or commercial electrical experience preferred

??? Experience as a lead electrician preferred

??? High work ethic, dependability, and integrity

??? Knowledge of local electrical codes and ability to make on-the-job applications

??? Electrician's license preferred

??? Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record

??? Ability to make solid connections with customers and co-workers

??? Leads by example: sets, monitors and enforces safety standards and quality of work set forth by Current Electric

Physical Requirements:

??? Must be able to lift 50 lbs. at a time

??? Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduit

??? Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending, work overhead, and climbing ladders and scaffolding ??? Must be able to see color to discern color coded wiring
