Architectural Designer/Detailer

The Designer/Detailer is responsible for assisting Sales, Estimating, Project Management and Field Operations in creating presentation drawings, design drawings, construction drawings, shop/fabrication drawings, and project documents. This position works from sketches, models, written and verbal information supplied by sales personnel, designers, and engineers, to determine the most appropriate views, details, and supplementary information needed to complete projects.

• Develop construction details that comply with the overall design intent and project budget
• Prepare complete and concise design and construction drawings including checking and coordinating details and dimensions
• Ensure ongoing review and checking of the documents for accuracy and completeness
• Assist in checking submittals and responding to requests for information
• Support construction projects with Revit & Auto CAD software
• Prepare shop drawings using Autodesk Inventor for fabrication of metal parts
• Collaborate with project personnel to facilitate projects
• Support non-Revit users with Auto CAD file creation and maintenance from Revit, 2D and 3D files
