Electrical Engineering Group Leader

Are you ready to take on an electrical management role but have limited growth opportunities with your current employer?

We're looking for an Electrical Engineering Group Leader. This role is responsible for leading the mentoring the team, expanding the business, and additional leadership responsibilities. You would initially have a team of five and hire to grow the team to meet the demands of the business.

All of the leaders, including the director to whom this role reports, are "doer-sellers," so they are billable and work with existing clients to develop relationships and expand the business with additional departments.

Electrical Group Manager Responsibilities:

• Lead the electrical engineering group staff giving work direction, coaching, and mentoring them in their career development
• Be a technical subject matter expert for the office
• Develop client relationships
• Support client proposals
• Provide quality assurance for the group

Electrical Group Manager Requirements:

• B.S. Electrical Engineering degree
• Professional Engineer license
• 10 - 20 years of experience developing electrical systems for industrial, commercial, higher education, or other building types
• Desire to lead a team as a mentor fostering a constructive culture
