Assistant Branch Manager of a rural Locally Owned Insurance company in Wells, MN. This person will promote the image of the company in a team-orientated environment. Focus is on customer service and a need-based selling of insurance products to customers and recommend appropriate solutions to meet their needs. Revenue growth and profitability is a high priority by maintaining and managing of renewal business, new business and contingencies. Assist overseeing of all office operations, personal, and decisions continue forward towards the goal of having the agency running at its highest optimal efficiency. Direct Supervisor - Accounting/HR Director, Overall Supervisor - Agency Director

Responsibilities:
Sales-Personally
Maintain a personal sales and growth goal new and renewal business commission sales per year and do the things necessary to try to obtain those goals.
Maintain less than 10% cancellation rate per year on existing business
Manage an existing book of personal business
X-sell to existing clients
Maintain a good source of referral pipeline to write new business
Make sales calls by phone or in person and set up appointments
Quoting
Cost Estimators
Setup proposals
Researching
Fill out applications
Order MVRs
Taking Pictures of houses and buildings
Measuring of houses and buildings

Service- Personally
Maintain and manage a medium to large size book of business
Hand off calls that can be taken care of by Account Managers or other support staff such as policy changes, claims, information needed, payment information, etc.
Help in doing all the above at times
Take care of customers needs, if having troubles, upset, or needs specific expertise that Account Managers or other support staff cannot offer
Renewals meetings- in office or at clients location
Overseeing that all our customers need is taken care of to the best of our ability
Assist with claims and claims follow up
Assist in goal setting individually
Monitor and keep track of individual sales
Monitor and keep track of individual sales list

Financials
Make decisions based on effect of what it will do to the profitability of the agency
Assist in Budget setting

Staff Management
Oversee job duties and give assignments

Agency- Company relations
Developing and maintaining a good relationship with all our partnered companies
Placing or moving business to help solidify our company relations

Meetings and Seminars-
Attending agency meetings
Continuing Education
Educational seminars
Attending numerous company meetings and seminars
Assist in meeting with insurance company personnel

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Education:
No Degree Required

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:

P&C and Life and Health Licensed
Agricultural Insurance and knowledge needed
