Overview of Responsibilities
The Licensed Electrician will provide leadership and technical expertise for a photovoltaic installation team (three-person crew). In this position, the Licensed Electrician will communicate the necessary job status data to the operations management team to assure the successful operation of complete and working systems. The ideal candidate will also lead efforts for safe working practices for the installation team. This is residential solar installation work, placing solar electrical equipment and replacing main panels. Electrician needs to be a seasoned card holder and be able to do electrical solar interconnections - training available in Solar. Electrician needs to be good with tools and working outside on rooftops, attics, and sides of
homes.
Responsibilities:
??? Replace and upgrade main service panels for residences
??? Solar Electrical Interconnections
??? Required to host all jurisdiction electrical inspections on performed work
??? Ensure good customer experience for homeowners
??? Work with utility for the de-energizing and re-energizing of service panels
??? Troubleshoot any electrical issues that may arise from performed work
??? Be punctual to all scheduled jobs or service calls
??? Learn basics of solar electrical and be able to troubleshoot solar systems
??? Have good written and verbal communication
??? Work well with others - part of a 5-man team
Qualifications:
? Journeyman Electrician, residential and/or solar experience is preferred but not required as training in residential solar is available.
? Must have a clean and valid driver's license, and be able to pass a drug test and background check
? Problem solver, self-motivated and action oriented thinker.
? Must be able to lift 50 lbs
? Commercial Apprentice/Journeyman card holder
? Able to bend 3/4" EMT/conduit
? Ability to work in extreme environments on a roof
? Conduit bending is a plus
? Must be willing and able to climb ladders and work on a roof for several hours at a time
? Excellent written and verbal skills
? Excellent customer service skills
? Thrive in a team environment
? Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance required
