This position will work out of our Manitowoc offices until we acquire our Whitelaw and Reedsville offices. The acquisition of these offices is targeted to be in the 3rd quarter of 2022.

Position Summary:

This position will manage the branch, including supervising staff, coordinating branch operations, and retail lending. This person should have knowledge of bank products and services and actively promote and sell those products and services. This person also needs strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

Supervising all of the branch staff including mentoring, completing and delivering performance reviews, managing employee issues , disciplinary actions when needed, and involved in the hiring process, in partnership with human resources
Conducts department training, and reviews policies and procedures with staff, ensuring that you and your staff are following proper procedures and policies to include regulatory requirements, cash drawer limits, balancing
May attend Branch Leadership Training meetings and bring back information to share with the department, depending on their staffing structure
Conduct surprise audits of all teller drawers, cash dispensers and the vault
Ensure proper teller operations audit procedures are being followed in all areas relating to the retail operations
Ensure that you and your staff are giving exceptional customer service
Create and manage the schedules of the staff, ensuring that the branch has proper staff coverage
Back up to all teller and customer service operations to include waiting on customers, receiving customer calls, stop payments, wire transfers, NSF decisions, opening new accounts, vault backup, etc.
Participates in maintaining good customer relations by acquainting customers and non-customers with bank products and services ; cross selling
Responsible for daily overdrafts and monitoring DDA accounts overall for branch; Close accounts as needed
Monitors and files various reports such as Safe Deposit Box, IRA and HSA weekly reports , missing CIP and NAICS reports, Bill Pay and Reg D reports, and daily variation report
Act as a Notary when needed
Discuss loan applications with potential customers, explain lending processes and rules, distribute loan applications, inform applicants of other documents needed to complete the customer requirements of the loan file, verify data on loan applications and research credit history, closings etc.
Provide back up to the mortgage originators as needed
Ensure that your staff is familiar with security processes and policies; you are the contact person for alarm problems or questions for your offices.
Maintain security records and ensure that inspections are completed
Represent the Bank in community activities to build mutually beneficial relationships with customers and centers of influence.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

A minimum of 12 months banking experience; teller experience preferred
Retail Lending experience required
Leadership experience preferred
Strong interpersonal skills
Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel)
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to handle self professionally and work with a diverse customer base
