We are looking for multiple resources that will be placed into roles commensurate with their experience to play role in the design, deployment and support of network infrastructure and software necessary to support our COTS software within co-located data centers, remotely managed customer sites, and public cloud environments. The ideal candidate will bring a diverse IT skill set along with a desire to learn new skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
What You Will Be Doing
"Troubleshoot issues related to network infrastructure and assist with network configuration
" Monitor, analyze and respond to infrastructure events
" Maintain an effective and secure network infrastructure
" Maintain comprehensive network standards, policies, procedures, and documentation
" Review and assess ways to streamline and automate network administration functions, as directed
" Support business continuity planning and disaster recovery, as they relate to network infrastructure
" On-call support
What You Need for this Position
"Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Engineering or a related field
" Minimum of 3+ years experience with network equipment
" Minimum of 3+ years experience with network firewalls and threat prevention
" Minimum of 5+ years working in Information Technology
" Strong understanding of network protocols including TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, ARP, ICMP, and routing protocols (BGP and OSPF)
" Strong understanding of enterprise-class networks, switches, and routers (Cisco, Arista, Dell)
" Experience with Next-Generation Firewalls and Load Balancers (Palo Alto, Fortigate, F5, etc.)
" Strong understanding of network secure protocols (SSL/TLS, SSH, IPSec/VPN, Ciphers)
" Strong understanding of certificates (server, client, intermediate, chain, private/public keys, OCSP, CRL)
" Strong troubleshooting skills using network monitoring tools and packet analysis (Solarwinds, Wireshark, etc.)
" Ability to work and effectively prioritize in a highly dynamic work environment
