You will lead activities and Health Safety Environment and Facilities (HSE) performance metrics. You will accomplish this by establishing strong working relationships with the site leadership team and the employees. You will report directly to the multi-site HSE manager. You will be a key HSE resource directing sustainable health and safety programs through incorporation of impactful operating processes and keeping in front of leading practices in health and safety standards. Our Plymouth plant is a semi-conductor fabricator including assembly and testing. You will be expected to lead the site's Chemical Emergency Response Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leads day to day activities of the site HSE operating system
  • Directs priorities of the HSE team based on risks
  • Implements HSE&F standards
  • Provide technical assistance
  • Site compliance reviews
  • Ensures compliance standards
  • Hazardous waste identification
  • Effective coach and role model
  • Deploys safety initiatives
  • Best Practice sharing
  • Drives standard work
  • Risk Management processes
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5 years HSE experience demonstrating increased responsibility in a manufacturing setting
  • Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements
WE VALUE
  • Formal or informal leadership experience
  • HAZWOPER training or ability to complete training within 3 months to include training on incident commander.
  • Use innovative thinking to create continuous improvement
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of basic computer skills
  • Technical knowledge that can apply to role
  • Ability to deliver on complex situations.
