General Duties:This individual is responsible for oversight of contract administration elements of the Division's Capital Improvement Program. Typical duties include, but are not limited to: managing and coordinating public infrastructure projects and programs within the City in accordance with requirements; directing the work and assignments of field employees assigned to specific projects; collaborating with other city departments and divisions on infrastructure related matters and representing the City positively in relationships with consultants, citizens and other agencies; and completing engineering administrative functions in the management of programs, preparation of budgets, and completion of research/reports. Minimum Qualifications An Associates degree in Construction or Contract Management, Civil Engineering, Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university and seven years of progressively responsible employment experience in municipal engineering practices and principles.
