Electromechanical Technician

We are looking for a technically certified person with electromechanical experience for our Service and Repair Team at our Bloomington, MN location.

Qualifications

• A college degree or at least an A+ certification.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with electromechanical systems such as printers, copiers, sorters, mailing equipment or other control systems. Experience in plastic card personalization industry is a plus.
• Must have the ability to clearly communicate to both internal and external customers.
• Must be able to follow documented work-flow processes but, also be flexible and creative when required.
• Good customer service skills and attitude. Experience working with many different types of customers and maintaining composure in difficult situations.
• Good common-sense troubleshooting / problem diagnosis and resolution skills
• Self-starter. Must be ready to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Tasks Include

• Repair and testing of incoming customer products.
• Mechanical and software configuration of new, outbound products.
• Responsible for pre- and post-sales technical support
• Work with vendors outside of the company for special projects
• Accurate accounting of time and inventory usage.
• Ability to assist in other parts of the organization as required.
