We have a great opportunity for an experienced Staff Engineer to join our Off-Road Vehicle (ORV) team. In this role, you will provide technical expertise and leadership for ORV vehicle platform teams. This role is responsible for ensuring critical technical specifications are set and conformed to for the respective product line. Additionally, leading a team to identify and develop corrective action to improve product field performance to align with customer and brand expectations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead team responsible for monitoring, root-causing, and developing corrective actions for field performance topics. Own compliance, communication, and education across teams. Partner with adjacent functions (manufacturing, post-sales surveillance, supplier quality, etc.) to drive and deliver timely corrective actions Identify and deliver innovative and world-class tools and frameworks to enable teams to be productive, agile, and lean Collect, leverage, and integrate field learnings for the development of new or enhanced engineering requirements (CAPA, RAVE, etc.) Lead and own safety system benchmarking process end-to-end. Develop platform critical requirements roadmap in collaboration with the leadership and governance of adherence Responsible for governance of product development through engineering requirements and verified conformance as design review signatory for respective product line Manage the development of processes, tools, etc. to ensure proper infrastructure is in place to be successful in the implementation of future corporate goals Mentor and develop direct team and broader engineering organization on problem-solving Work with Architects to ensure complete vehicle specifications and KPCs Support and partner with the legal team for product liability and litigation activities SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EDUCATION: B.S. or higher in Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering required 10+ years of relevant experience Knowledgeable and informed on regulatory and compliance topics for the applicable platform(s) Quality and customer-focused Must be able to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, both internally and externally Ability to present to all levels of the organization including senior leadership Proven mentor and coach Interest in Powersports is always a plus!
