Drafter/Designer

Do you have experience reading and interpreting blueprints in an architectural/structural industry? Are you comfortable speaking with sales and customers? Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings
Familiarity with final layouts for building systems
Make jobsite visits to take measurements
Conduct field measurements on occasion
Identify architectural and design discrepancies and explore solutions
Prepares prints for manufacturing and release to production plant
Maintain a positive customer relationship
Enters data into MiTek, design software for manufacturing
Other duties to succeed

Education and Qualifications:
Associate Degree in Architectural Design or equivalent experience
Experience with Microsoft Suite
CAD exposure/experience required
Customer focused mentality in a team setting
Ability to interpret drawings, read blueprints and visualize details in 3D
Critical thinking skills that can foresee potential problems and make changes accordingly
