Wilo USA acquired Weil Pump and Scot Pump in 2017, American-Marsh Pumps in 2019 and QuantumFlo in October 2021.

The Lean Manufacturing Manager is responsible for leading the continuous improvement strategies to improve overall business performance.

Roles and Responsibilities

?? Interact with all levels of the organization to lead a positive culture of continuous improvement.

?? Promote respect, open communications, enthusiasm, and motivation to ensure employee engagement in the Lean culture.

?? Develop and maintain the sites lean transformation plan, including value stream maps.

?? Manage the Lean Assessment preparation and develop improvement plans based on assessment results.

?? Apply the skills of process analysis to lead the learning and change within the organization.

?? Promote the Lean principles and techniques through a fact-based decision process.

?? Manage the kaizen events and continuous improvement projects with clear measurable deliverables by reducing errors, waste, defects and monitoring the operating system.

?? Oversee design cell layouts, process, and material flow to maximize efficiencies in assembly.

?? Manage the results from the perform work measurements: time studies, line balance, process capacity and implement hour by hour boards for tracking throughput.

?? Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce waste by implementing Lean, Wilo Production Systems (WPS) and Six Sigma tools and methodologies.

?? Oversee the daily Gemba walk and maintain SQDC boards KPIs.

?? Involved in the training of supervisors and operators on Lean principles and WPS.

?? Ensure the utilize and improve visual management in all areas are aligned with lean strategies.

?? Review of manufacturing areas for potential safety hazards and make sure that all the safety practices are being followed while implementing new processes.

PM22

?? Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial, Manufacturing or Mechanical preferred.

?? 7 plus plus years' experience using Lean/Six Sigma principles and tools like Kaizen Events, Gemba, Heijunka, JIT, One Piece Flow, Value Stream Maps, Line Layout, Process Flow Material Flow and 6S in a manufacturing environment.

?? Experience in CAD or CREO.
