Your Career
The Palo Alto Networks Systems Engineering Manager for the Americas Corporate SE Academy is a technical player+coach leadership position for the Associate Systems Engineering (ASE) team. The systems engineers who are members of the Palo Alto Networks SE Academy Program will report directly to you and you will report directly to a Senior SEM for Corporate Systems Engineers.
In this role, you will have leadership responsibility for the ASEs in an assigned cohort and geographic location, Fargo, ND. The role is key to the development of early-in-career pre-sales systems engineers.
Your Impact
Recruit and hire new Associate Systems Engineers into the company
Responsible for training and mentoring new Associate Systems Engineers on the team
Collaborate with University Recruiting team to source qualified candidates from universities and colleges across the country
HR responsibility for Associate Systems Engineers (expenses, reviews, etc)
Support the ASE team in technical training, business acumen development, and engagement with other systems engineering teams across Palo Alto Networks
Work closely with the Field SE leadership teams to build relationships between the ASE team and Field SE organizations
Constantly refine and advise on SE Academy business and technical curriculum
Reinforce and assist in technical and business/sales acumen training
Align with technical product specialists to create new learning opportunities
Guide and mentor ASEs in systems engineering tasks related to customer engagement, product evaluations, channel partner engagement, and webinar delivery
Manage and lead various sales engineering efforts provided by ASEs
Provide an escalation point for ASE technical issues that arise
Build and maintain relationships with key departments, such as SE Enablement and SE Enterprise leadership
