The Customer Service Rep ensures customer satisfaction by answering product and delivery questions; suggesting information about other products. Processes orders, prepares correspondences and tracks customer orders, works to resolve any delivery issues.

Responsibilities

  • Identify customers' needs to achieve complete satisfaction
  • Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication
  • Meet call handling and order entry quotas
  • Accuracy in placing customer orders
  • Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and follow up to ensure resolution
  • Keep records and track the pricing for customers and ensure the Part Numbers were added accordingly
  • Review Deduction Lists, Credit Report, and Pricing Over-Ride Report
  • Communications with Warehouse Managers on late, large and/or add on of orders
  • Work closely with other Customer Service Reps to encourage a team work environment
  • Expediting Reports (back orders/open orders)
  • Coordination of National Accounts
  • Create and process order guides
  • Track status of products and stock requests with Purchasing team

Requirements

  • Proven customer support experience preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Familiarity with Eclipse (AS400)/Solar (Window based) system preferred
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of situations
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
