Shift: Shift 2

Work schedule: Saturdays/Sunday 11am-7pm at Insinkerator located in Racine, WI. Additional hours available supporting onsite occupational health clinics in Racine, Oak Creek and Cudahy.

Summary:

Will assist Workforce Health clients by providing services across the department. Travel is required.

Provide basic first aid.

Administer immunizations, as indicated.

Monitor vital signs.

Perform vision screening.

Perform drug tests.

Conduct audiograms.

Maintain medical supplies.

Assist with referral management.

Assist in maintaining clinic organization.

Assist with scheduling of appointments.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Wellness/Health education/community experience is preferred. Technical diploma/certification in Phlebotomy, MA, EMT or other technically approved certification or Associates in health/community education, exercise physiology, or related healthcare/wellness field is required. Bachelor's degree in health/community education, exercise physiology, or related healthcare/wellness field is preferred. Valid Drivers License is required. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within three months of hire.

Other information:

Wellness or Health Coaching certification endorsed by NSHC, ACE or WellCoaches is preferred. Working knowledge of personal computer and various audiovisual equipment including Microsoft Suite. Demonstrates evidence of integrity, initiative, strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrates evidence of working at employer organizations, and actively cross-trains within the department.
