This individual will provide administrative support in all areas of governmental business for RDO Equipment's John Deere construction equipment group.

Specific Duties Include:

Assist in the preparation of governmental request for proposal (RFP's) and annual price contracts.
Secure and maintain contract and/or bid documents along with other customer requirements.
Gather and compile product, parts, and labor/installation pricing from manufacturer partners and internal departments.
Review requests for proposal to evaluate compatibility with specifications.
Support sales team by calculating contract pricing for customer quotes.
Update and maintain various resources/tools for the sales team.
Monitor and distribute daily feed of new bid solicitations.
Maintain organized electronic and/or paper records of all work.
Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook.
Conduct self in the presence of customers and community so as to present a professional image of RDO Equipment Co.
Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training, in an effort to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set.
Participate in all company/location driven communication efforts, including open book meetings, huddles, department meetings and other related efforts.
Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.

Job Requirements:

Strong computer and data entry skills
Experience working with computer/on-line systems; proficient in Microsoft Excel with an interest in learning more
Excellent organizational skills
Attention to detail
Excellent customer service skills
Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
