Overview

Catholic Eldercare is looking for Registered Nurses (RNs) for our own Internal Pool group for when we need extra hands. This role pays $50/hour!! This coverage will help give our residents the top of line care they deserve and need.

This is a great way to pick up additional income to supplement your current job, works well for busy parents working around their children's schedules, or for students needing to work around classes schedules.

Schedule: The internal pool scheduling is FLEXIBLE and works well to meet the needs of your busy life! You will be required to work 5 shifts per month, two of which need to be on a weekend, and work two holidays per year. This position may pick up shifts in any of our service lines (Assisted Living, Long Term Care, Transitional Care Unit, Memory Care, Adult Day Program) and communities.

    Catholic Eldercare is a community of residential facilities in Northeast Minneapolis offering services in assisted living, independent living, skilled nursing, memory care, transitional care, and adult day services.

    Responsibilities

    The RN is a key team member who is responsible to meet the needs of the resident by following the plan of care, rounding to observe resident physical and psychosocial status and reporting and responding to changes in condition as appropriate. The RN plans, directs and carries out shift routines as well as directing, observing and evaluating the work of personnel on their unit.

    Qualifications

  • Current RN license to practice in the State of Minnesota.

  • At least 1 year experience in nursing
  • Working knowledge of Long Term Care and Assisted Living regulations

  • Clinically competent to utilize the nursing process to perform physical and cognitive assessments of residents.

  • Ability to meet physical demands of position including visual and auditory acuity.

  • Reading, writing and speaking English is a requirement of the position.
