YOUR ROLE
  • Plan and schedule all preventative and corrective maintenance activities for Beauty Care packaging lines
  • Plan and execute all contracted maintenance including procurement of contracted services
  • Leverage SAP PM system through detailed preparation of work orders, PM schedules, job steps, tool lists and parts lists within SAP and maintain/improve
  • Management of equipment/asset organization and hierarchy
  • Management of the bill of materials
  • Buildout and continuous improvement of detailed work instructions based on Time-Based-Maintenance (TBM) methodology
  • Maintenance task time estimation
  • Ensure availability of necessary spare parts, tools and equipment, working closely with Purchasing and Finance
  • Plan and execute 5S part and tool activities in various work areas
  • Advise of any problems or potential problems which affect the ability of the operation to produce in a safe, quality, timely and efficient manner
  • Monitor and report on all relevant maintenance activity KPIs
  • Coordinate with the supervisors to continuously improve the planning and execution of maintenance work
  • Provide effective feedback and maintain open communication with all maintenance personnel regarding performance of planned tasks, while not directly supervising tasks, to improve planning accuracy
  • Assist in the planning and administration of the maintenance budget to include capital planning


YOUR SKILLS
  • Willing to flex schedule in order to meet business needs, including extended shifts, weekends and holidays if necessary, as well as moving to other shifts to balance skills, results and training opportunities.
  • Basic math skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
  • Experience with mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, as well as basic welding and electrical skills
  • Problem solving and technical troubleshooting skills; ability to resolve issues independently and understand when additional support is needed
  • Proficiency in the use of a computer including GUI's and Dynastar
  • Ability in the following administrative tasks: Ordering parts and supplies through SAP process, acknowledging receipts and coordinating service contracts
  • Acts as a role model and provides direct feedback to encourage appropriate work behaviors
  • Current forklift certification and scissor lift training or ability to become certified/trained
