Position Overview:

We are looking for a Digital Business Engagement Manager who possesses a strong drive for results. Duties for this role include a broad range of tasks such as maintaining ongoing customer relationships and networking, implementing successful programs, uncovering growth opportunities, onboarding and training partners, and maximizing digital engagement. You should also be able to provide insights on business-to-business interactions, improve customer experience through product support, and handle customer requests and complaints. Ability to manage expectations and partner with product management to help solve customer business problems.

Successful candidates must have exceptional interpersonal skills, possess an aptitude for learning technology solutions, and be able to communicate clearly and effectively. The ideal Digital Solutions Manager should engage with partners, maximize value, and create strategies to grow our digital footprint.

This is not exclusively an essential onsite role, though may require some onsite attendance .

Remote work may be available in the following states: AZ, AR, CA, ID, IL, IN, KY, MI, MN, NH, NY, ND, SD, TX, WA, WI

Responsibilities: Must be able to...

  • Define, drive, and demonstrate value and sustainable success by serving as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor for customers
  • Assist customers with the deployment/configuration of technology both during and after onboarding
  • Champion and drive digital opportunities through digital onboarding and support as they are identified and brought in from the field
  • Ability to translate strategy, market opportunities and customer expectations into winning business/product strategies and experiences across Digital Supply platforms
  • Research & identify potential customers to promote the Digital Digi-Key tools through various communication channels
  • Maintain relationships with appropriate internal and external partners in developing, promoting and deploying solutions
  • Stay current on market, competition and trends including tactics, field concepts and practices and how to apply them to strategies when applicable
  • Manage systems for tracking customer engagement and ROI of tools and engagements
  • Provide timely, constructive feedback to the product team for feature requests and enhancements
  • Effectively solve ad-hoc customer issues as needed, interacting with technical team, escalating customer issues, and identifying solutions/resources
  • Understand and teach others, internally and externally, about Digi-Key's digital business options
  • Develop educational and promotional programs (e.g. webinars, financial incentives) in partnership with Digital Supply Solutions and Marketing to drive customer interest and engagement
  • Develop and improve internal training programs to enable the organization to meet and exceed digital connectivity engagement goals
  • Promote and educate customers on new features and capabilities added to Digi-Key's digital connectivity platform
  • Assist suppliers and other partners with developing, promoting and deploying digital connectivity solutions while understanding the impact to Digi-Key business

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or similar area of study or equivalent, relevant work experience
  • 5+ years of business/technical experience working with data-based applications or APIs or similar relevant work experience
  • Demonstrates ability to think critically and creatively solve problems to deliver individually relevant solutions for customers
  • Demonstrates ability to build and foster influential relationships at all levels across and outside of the Digi-Key organization
  • Demonstrates ability to communicate professionally at all levels within the organization to identify and resolve problems and implement new initiatives
  • Demonstrates ability to utilize, understand, and develop analytics and data to drive business decisions
  • Strong awareness of competitive landscape, customer performance, & customer strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal direction
  • Must be able to perform the following behavioral competencies; Technical Capacity, Organizational Awareness, Strategic Awareness, Interpersonal Effectiveness, Learning Orientation, Integrity, Resilience
  • May spend the workday sitting at a workstation and operating computer devices, such as, but not limited to keyboard, mouse and screen
