As a member of the Center of Excellence, the Digital Procurement Lead is responsible for supporting the digital transformation of the Procurement Function, while enabling innovation and standardization of business intelligence. The position plays a key role with aligning and developing analytics and delivering governance, design-development-maintenance-enhancements of dashboarding, continuous improvement and team capability development, as well as supporting global master data governance across the organization.

 

As part of the role, the Digital Procurement Lead also provides process, systems and performance improvements across the Procurement functions by managing the coordination of related projects, working closely with the PIT organization on delivering digital solutions.
 

Role & Responsibility

Strategic Direction and Planning    
Support development, deployment and execution of digital systems delivering global process and standard alignment
  • Execute assigned tasks with driving functional alignment and compliance, coordinating strategies, annual goals realization and special initiatives
  • Create innovation by benchmarking industry best practices for using procurement digital tools, develop new proposal and drive strategic roadmap development

Digital Transformation    
Support the CoE efforts in leading transformation to Digital Procurement
  • Coordinate efforts of creating global solutions for digitizing procurement and supply chain processes
  • Develop and execute the digital roadmap in alignment with Global PIT. Ownership of building business justification supporting IT solution roadmap
  • Support driving global alignment on business and system processes

Governance & Procurement Performance    
Govern the digital systems supporting global processes (design, implementation, monitoring, and compliance usage enforcement)
  • Enhance data accessibility and efficiency across the organization
  • Develop and maintain BI and data analytics solutions, working closely with PIT organization (dashboard- reporting, PowerBI, QLIK)
  • Support the improvement of collaborative platforms (ie SharePoints, Team Sites, Portals)
  • Contribute to audit compliances

Data Governance & Supplier Relationship Management    
Support the CoE responsibility with implementing a robust Supplier Management system
  • Support the implementation of robust rules and governance for Supplier Master data

Organization Capability Development    
Support the deployment and execution of training programs covering global processes and digital systems
  • Develop, consolidate and deliver training plans on new system and functionalities
  • Enhance training portfolio, Onboarding and solutions for e-learning


Job Requirement

  • Business Administration or Engineering Degree (Allow Equivalent)
  • 5+ years of relevant experience 
  • Data science background
  • Dashboarding development. Analytics tool (i.e. Power BI, QLIK apps.)
  • Broad base knowledge of business functions and related processes (Sourcing, Supply Chain, Quality, Operations, PLM, IT)
  • Understanding of digital practices with Procurement processes (Supplier Management, Procure to Pay, Purchasing, Advanced Sourcing, Category strategies, NPD, Supply Chain, Logistics)
  • Understanding of Accounting, Finance & business administration
  • Project management intimacy
  • Good judgement and leadership skills
  • Able to coordinate people in multiple locations/regions
  • Analytical thinker and problem solving
  • Practical knowledge of Continuous Improvement and process change management
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Highly computer literate
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with Procurement (Sourcing, Supply Chain, NPD Sourcing, Supplier Development) and IT related Functions building digital solutions
  • Past experience in data management, Analytics and Architecture solution build
  • Prior project management - leadership experience across multiple regions/culture
  • Proven track record of strategic thinking, implementation of change and managing multiple projects with cross-functional work experience

•Education Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
