Study Hall Proctor

Position Purpose: Supervises students in-person during study hall and/or lunch and maintains a harmonious atmosphere by encouraging students to behave appropriately and act responsibly including peaceful resolution of conflicts.

Responsibilities:
Communicates, collaborates, and cooperates with colleagues, supervisors, and students.
Assumes responsibility for appropriate equipment.
Directs movement of groups to and from study hall, lunchroom and classrooms in a safe and organized manner.
Assists in lunchroom clean up.
Enforces school policies or practices set forth by the School Board and building administration.
Participate in all mandatory training or training appropriate to the position as required by the district.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
High level of comfort utilizing computer technology such as Zoom Meetings, Google Docs, and navigating websites.
Possess personal attributes of integrity and respect for others as well as ability to work effectively in collaborative teams and serve as a supervisor for elementary students.
Strong content knowledge in core areas (English, Math, Science, and Social Studies).
Must be able to walk, stand, and bend frequently.
Must be able to speak and hear to communicate with children and staff.
