Responsibilities of the Financial Analyst:
- Develop monthly spreadsheets used for Federal reporting purposes and to ensure the validity of all information
- Prepare and maintain documentation for processes, activities, and reporting requirements
- Perform and/or assist with financial analysis, modeling, and reporting as well as complex reconciliations
- Create and submit manual general ledger entries with Oracle
- Assist with internal and external audit requirements, including development and review of compliance activities and required documentation
- Perform related duties and special projects as assigned
Qualifications of the Financial Analyst:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or equivalent
- Experienced Financial Analyst who demonstrates dependability, and flexibility
- Intermediate - Advance in Excel - Vlook ups, and pivot tables
- Ability to understand processes from beginning to end and how to apply to others
- Specialize knowledge of accounting and financial analysis techniques
- Problem-solver and independently driven!
- Ability to work under time restraints and manage deadlines
- Oracle knowledge is a plus
