Senior Project Manager - Milwaukee, WI

This role is not for any average Project Manager. This $200M+ general contractor is looking to hire the best Project Manager in the market to take on large project responsibilities, mentorship capabilities, and be a future leader.

The client is a construction institution with over 30 years in operation in Wisconsin, with their home base located downtown Milwaukee. Their specialty lies in Healthcare and Light Industrial projects, but they are expanding into the Retail and Commercial market and are looking for top construction professionals to join their team. Description

• Overseeing and directing projects from start to finish
• Directs and supervises work of project administration staff and construction engineers, as well as works in partnership with project superintendents to establish operational priorities
• Responsible for forecasting, tracking/reporting project costs/revenue and adherence to project estimates
• Responsible for problem resolution involving labor disputes, staffing, construction materials, construction equipment and contracts/subcontracts administration
• Coordinates with construction Safety Manager to ensure that projects are completed in accordance with established safety goals
• Develop strong relationships with Superintendents, Subcontractors, and Assistant Project Managers
• Maintain appropriate documentation through project such as RFI logs and change orders

Profile

• Bachelor Degree in Construction Management or related field
• Competitive professional with 4+ years experience at a general contractor working in the commercial, retail, or healthcare space
• Working knowledge of the field and industry, including carpentry, masonry, concrete work, site excavation and grading, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, and electrical
• Strong command and knowledge of construction technology and necessary details including all drawings, specifications and documents
• A natural communicator and leader in management practices and client relationship building

Job Offer

• Strong base salary ranging from $115,000 - $130,000 (dependent on experience)
