Hours: 4 days a week 10 hour shifts starting from 8 AM ending at 6 PM. Occasional times where after hour events, weekend work, emergency work\travel, and being on call may be required. Some remote work hours are available.

Wage Range: $15-$25

Summary: This person will monitor our service tickets and resolve those via phone, utilize remote management solutions or travel to the stores to resolve the problems. They will also be involved with various projects in between handling of service tickets. This person will need to be flexible with their time and schedule as they will need to be able to support our various retail hours as well as occasional after hour projects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage help desk tickets as they come in

  • Resolve issues either by phone, remote support, or visiting locations

  • Document Troubleshooting steps and Resolutions

  • Assist with troubleshooting, upgrading and replacing technology as needed may include the following items :

    • Computers \ Monitors

    • Network Switches

    • Routers

    • Printers

    • IP Based Surveillance Cameras

    • Network Cabling

  • Assist with new store setups, migrations, and location moves

  • Follow up and update customers with status of issues and verification of resolutions

  • Train and educate staff as needed to minimize duplicate service calls

  • Pass on any feedback from stores and staff to appropriate team members

  • Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures

  • Schedule will be flexible but will focus around retail hours which varies from 8 AM to 8 PM as well as Saturday and Sunday hours. On Call schedule should be assumed.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a help desk technician

  • Able to be a self starter and prioritize issues appropriately

  • Able to communicate well with staff

  • Able to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues

  • Reliable method of transportation

  • Able to pass criminal background checks, drug tests, and submit for a credit check

  • Flexibility with schedule to accommodate after hours, weekend work, and on be on call

  • Able to lift 50 lbs

  • Able to work on ladders

Preferred Experience

  • Working with healthcare and\or retail technologies

  • Experience with Remote Management Solutions

  • Prior Help Desk experience
