Support Specialist

Job Summary:

As a Support Specialist, you will help our people with disabilities in different settings including the production floor, community, and the classroom. The support setting you will work in can vary from week to week. You will help our people with disabilities grow their skills and gain independence to the greatest extent possible.

We have creative schedules that allow you to work with us on either a part-time or full-time basis.

Wage: $18.00 per hour

How will you make a difference?

As part of team and the setting that you are working in, you will help our people with disabilities in the following areas:

• Plan and deliver social and creative lessons and activities
• Train, coach, and assist our people with disabilities on various assembly jobs
• Learn what it means to successfully work with others
• Assist our people with disabilities develop and enhance their work skills
• Coach and guide our people with disabilities to reach their goals
• Grow and develop their social skills

What will you bring to Opportunity Partners?

• A desire to make a difference in the lives of our people with disabilities!
• One year of experience in human services.
• High school degree or GED
