Vice President of Construction - Twin Cities

The VP of construction is responsible for the overall construction site, and managing employees of multiple markets within a specific region. Must meet plant operation deadlines. Must be able to maintain quality standards, ensure safety protocols are consistently followed, and budget plans are met.

Description

• Working with the President to build their construction team internally and externally
• Build client and subcontractor relationships
• Work alongside design team and preconstruction team
• Manage design schedule
• Establish project budget and forecast
• Manage project costs
• Mentor and develop project management staff
• Additional responsibilities

Profile

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture or related field.A minimum of 15+ years construction industry experience
• A background in managing Multifamily/ Mixed-Use, Commercial or Healthcare projects
• A natural leader who can make/influence quick decisions
• An understanding of design/drawings and development
• Experienced with business development
