The project manager will ensure the project is complaint while also keeping the project on schedule. The project manager will also build and mantian relationships critical to the success of the overall project and company.

Client Details

My client is a fully integrated developer/builder that specializes primarily in multifamily renovations across the country. Although they have a presence across the United States, they have a consistent backlog of work here in the Milwaukee market that requires a local presence to manage. Their typical project is roughly a year in duration and the size can range up to about $5M. They pride themselves on not only doing quality work but taking care of the residents of these facilities. Most of their work is done on currently occupied buildings so there is a level of conscientiousness that employees must have for those who live in the building.

Description

  • Manage all documentation to ensure project is compliant, remains on schedule and remains within budget while monitoring all costs.
  • Obtain, assemble, distribute and fill all as-built drawings, warranties, certificates of occupancy and lien releases.
  • Schedule projects in logical steps and budgeting time required to meet deadlines.
  • Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports and cost tracking reports.
  • Build and maintain relationships critical to the success of the overall project and company.

Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Construction, experience managing multiple projects at a time
  • Tenant Improvement project experience
  • Working knowledge of skilled trades including carpentry, masonry, concrete work, site excavation and grading, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, and electrical.
  • Working knowledge of commercial construction technology and details. Candidate must be extremely proficient reviewing and understanding all construction documents including specifications and drawings
  • Excellent communication skills with various parties including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients.
