Job Information

As an Accounting / Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for timely preparation and improvement of the monthly management reporting package.  In addition, you will implement Bobcat Company’s financial reporting initiatives and complete the general reporting requirements of the company’s routine financial reporting cycle. Relocation package available.  Possibility of hybrid work location if selected applicant lives within 100 mile radius of Gwinner, ND, with manager approval after training period and with good standing performance.

Role & Responsibility

  • Monthly closing process including accrual analysis, subledger analysis, and expense analysis.
  • Analysis and submission of monthly profit and loss statement, balance sheet and variance from forecast.
  • Provide management with monthly analysis of actual performance vs. forecast, plan, and prior year.
  • Implement and enhance accounting systems/procedures that will improve efficiencies and internal controls.
  • Balance sheet account reconciliation of accounts payable, fixed assets, etc.
  • Work with external auditors on various requests for analysis and information.
  • Work with departmental managers on monthly expense explanations/analysis and budget preparation.
  • Assist in preparation of strategic plan.
  • Assist in inventory management.
  • Actively participate on cross-functional teams.


Job Requirement

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with Finance/Accounting Concentration. CPA Certification preferred but not required.
  • 1 - 2+ years’ experience. Experience with monthly closing process, accounting reconciliation, general reporting  and analysis.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Microsoft Office Suite competency, including strong Excel skills.
  • Power BI experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and cross-functional teamwork skills.
  • Priority focus, attention to detail, and accuracy.

•Education Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent

•Must be able to follow established methods and procedures and perform work accordingly. Must have the ability to work rapidly and under time pressure for extended periods of time in order to meet build requirements. Must possess the ability to read build sheets and blueprints.
•The ability to communicate with supervisors and fellow workers in both written and verbal forms at a level normally acquired through the completion of a high school diploma or GED is required.
•Job specific skills, techniques and safe work and equipment operating practices are learned through on-the-job and classroom training. General instructions are given on recurring duties, operations and assignments; detailed instructions are given on new duties, operations and assignments.
