Position Information

Family Healthcare Pharmacy is seeking a motivated, experienced Pharmacist to join our growing team of innovative professionals. We are a closed door, clinic pharmacy operating at 2 sites in Fargo, ND. We are looking for a candidate who will be a positive addition to our team by providing excellent medication related services and culturally sensitive patient care. The pharmacist is responsible for overseeing technicians, interns, and customer service representatives while performing dispensing and clinical pharmacy services. Pharmacist related duties include serving as a preceptor, medication reconciliation, medication counseling, presenting preventative care programs, medication dispensing, drug utilization reviews, formulary review and recommendations, disease state management, performing activities authorized by an established collaborative practice agreement, providing education to a team of medical providers, and performing clinical pharmacy services including health screenings and point of care testing.

Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday, shifts ranging from 7:30am to 6:00pm.

Advertised Salary:

$128,900 to $131,040

Minimum Qualifications:
  • BS Pharm or PharmD degree
  • Eligible for licensure in North Dakota
  • Experience working in retail pharmacy setting

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge of private insurance, Medicare D and Medicaid
  • Ability to collaborate successfully with coworker
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a busy, fast paced pharmacy environment
  • Experience participating in a Quality Assurance program
  • Experience with pharmacy computer system software utilizing workflow system and robotics Experience working with drug manufacturer prescription assistance programs
  • Experience working in a diverse, multicultural setting
  • Experience working with interpreters/language line
  • Experience providing and billing for Medication Therapy Management services
  • Experience providing Point of Care testing
  • Experience providing tobacco cessation counseling
  • Experience providing North Dakota ONE program services
  • Experience serving as preceptor for IPPE and/or APPE students
  • Experience utilizing the Federal 340b program
