Overview

Our St. Paul, MN office has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our MnDOT Roadway team.

Responsibilities

We're seeking a motivated project manager to join our Roadway team to help us produce MnDOT Roadway projects. This is an excellent opportunity to grow into a client server with an industry leader, working on exciting projects in the Twin Cities area. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit and an interest in marketing/serving clients, as well as a desire to eventually lead their own practice and manage a team.

Qualifications

+ Bachelors or Masters Degree from an accredited university in the field of Civil Engineering

+ PE certification

+ Eight or more years of experience working on the design of roadway projects

+ Municipal and/or MnDOT experience desirable

+ Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external partners including clients, sub consultants, and utility companies

+ Experience preparing final design plans, specifications and construction cost estimates

+ Knowledge of Civil 3D and/or MicroStation/Inroads

+ Design experience on horizontal and vertical alignments, streetscape and roadway improvements, multimodal design and signage.

+ Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills

+ Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines

+ Detail-oriented with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
