Position Overview:

Senior Compensation Partnersresearch,establishand maintaincompensation plans.They collaborate daily with a small team of total rewards experts as well as workclosely with leadership to develop strategies and ensure that they are effective. Senior Compensation PartnersleadTotal Rewardsprogramimplementationsand developmentinitiatives.They areaknowledgeable HRresource forinternalcustomers.

This is not exclusively an essential onsite role, though may require some onsite attendance .

  • Consult with HR and business leaders to recommend and implement compensation plans related to employee role changes that correspond with strategic goals.
  • Create and maintain organization structure in appropriate systems, consult with business leaders including training to ensure consistency with system structure.
  • Manage and design short term or ongoing incentive plansand compensation structures including job classifications and evaluations.
  • Analyzeand match roles to surveys based on responsibilities and requirements.
  • Ensure payroll results match expected compensation plans including partnering on reoccurring balancing and communication processes.
  • Mentor and develop total rewards staff and business leadersas well as be a resource for employees with total rewards questions.
  • Act as abackupfor benefitand payroll partners.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

Essential Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of Digi-Key experience working with cross functional initiatives or 4+ years of compensation management experience.
  • Successful negotiation experience.
  • Proven relationship building skills.
  • Analytical skills including the ability to assemble, utilize and disseminate data.
  • In depth knowledge of labor laws and related legislation.
  • Must be able to perform the following behavioral competencies; attention to detail, communication, customer/client focus, ethical conduct, initiative, manages execution, marketing capacity, personal effectiveness/credibility, positive attitude, professionalism, problem-solving/analysis, project management, thoroughness, and time management, continuous learning, developing others, information seeking, and relationship building.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred.
