The Senior Manager of Medicare Advantage Member Experience plays a vital role in the planning and execution of key strategic initiatives with the consumer at the center of each decision to ensure UHC's Medicare Advantage products are distinctive and successful in the market. This position influences the priorities of the business and helps execute strategic and tactical solutions to achieve the short and long-term goals of the Medicare Advantage Product Strategy team within Medicare & Retirement.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Accountable:
    • Provide strategic point of view for the end-to-end member experience on a variety of strategic initiatives
    • Act as a strategic thought leader to solve unique and complex problems
    • Establish solid relationships with key stakeholders and proactively communicate to manage expectations, projects timelines and trade-offs
    • Provide consumer insight and measurement recommendations
    • Analyze customer insights to support product go-to-market strategy
    • Assistance with identification and documentation of use case scenarios for member experience
    • Provide updates and status report on key initiatives
    • Assistance with identification with FMEA (Failure Mode & Effect Analysis)
    • Provide member experience point of view on testing
    • Provide subject matter expertise on product consumer experience to internal and external stakeholders
    • Enjoys working within ambiguity and gray space

Required Qualifications:

  • BS / BA in Marketing, Business, Communication or related field
  • 7+ years of experience delivering product, program, or project support for large, complex organizations
  • Experience with Medicare products or managed care organizations
  • 25% travel required (team onsite within Twin Cities market, quarterly meetings, summits)
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. Preferred Qualifcations:

  • Proficient experience with executing digital-oriented campaigns
  • Able to work with and communicate with all levels of the organization, including senior management
  • Solid project management skills
  • Detail and accuracy orientated
  • Desire and ability to work in a highly dynamic fast paced environment

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $97,300 to $176,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $97,300 to $176,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
